ABOUT THIS WEBSITE

I set up this website to essentially function as three different sites, all combined and mixed together like a wordy brownie batter, the ingredients of which are:

1. A personal site allowing me to post scribblings and occasional blogs on various topics of interest.

2. A portfolio showcasing my various professional and amateur creative output.

3. An archive of more or less everything I’ve ever written, produced or recorded (that I haven’t lost, forgotten about, or retroactively memory-holed out of embarrassment).

ABOUT ME

Born in Chester, England and raised straddling the border with Wales. Lifelong gamer and former wannabe rockstar turned content creator and marketing professional. Residing with my partner in Frankfurt, Germany where we operate as benefactors and live-in servants for a Shiba Inu called Kylo.

ABOUT MY BACKGROUND

Studied journalism at the University of Chester while trying to make it as a musician, the latter being an endeavour that ultimately failed due to a spectacular lack of talent. I returned to writing properly in 2016 before landing a professional copywriting gig a year later. In 2018 I co-founded and launched Nintendo Village, a website dedicated to all things Nintendo, before landing a content marketing position at Nintendo of Europe in 2021.
