Skellboy Review

February 09, 2020 by Phil Myth in Reviews

Skellboy is unquestionably a good time. The unique artstyle brings this well constructed world to life in a fantastic way, and there’s plenty of rewards for players who investigate away from the game’s main path. The central story thread is too loosely woven through the game’s progression and thus doesn’t carry the payoff it’s aiming for, but there’s no doubting the fun to be had exploring and inhabiting this idiosyncratic little world.

Football Manager 2020 Touch Review

January 13, 2020 by Phil Myth in Reviews

Football Manager 2020 Touch is not without it’s flaws, but beneath the relatively superficial gripes, is the managerial behemoth that has more than earned its stripes over the years. The level of detail you can drill down to is nothing short of miraculous.

Monkey Barrels is a great dual-stick shooter that does enough new and interesting things to make it stand out in the genre, while massive amounts of replayability and tight core gameplay make this a stellar effort for developer Good Feel’s maiden solo outing.

One Night Stand Review

October 07, 2019 by Phil Myth in Reviews

Ultimately, One Night Stand is an entertaining recreation of ‘the morning after’ and does well to recapture the awkward feeling of trying to relive the previous night’s escapades while frantically trying to remember the name of the person lying next to you. A fun and unique premise within the point-and-click genre.

Gioteck WX4 Wireless Pro Controller Review

October 03, 2019 by Phil Myth in Reviews

If you’re after a budget pro controller, then the Gioteck WX4 could be right up your street. While it lacks the premium feel of Nintendo’s official pad, it also lacks the premium price tag, making it a decent option for anyone looking to add an extra controller without breaking the bank.
