A couple of weeks ago we saw a potential leak on Twitter revealing the file sizes for Pokémon Sword and Shield. Now though, courtesy of the Japanese eShop, we’ve got the final sizes, and they’re a little bit smaller than we first thought.

Whilst the leak - seen on the back of a digital download retail card - had the games clocking in at 10.3GB, it appears the final size is 9.5GB. That’s still pretty hefty compared to Pokémon Let’s Go’s 4.55GB though.

There’s only a couple of weeks left until the games launch, so if you’re planning on opting for a digital copy, now’s the time to make some room on that SD card!
