Fire Emblem's Byleth Joins Smash Bros Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Fighter’s Pass DLC has gotten it’s final fighter, and the man in question is Fire Emblem Three Houses’ Byleth.
The character was revealed by series producer Masahiro Sakurai during a livestream which also showcased the moveset. The character will be available in both male and female forms, and will naturally also get a stage in the form of the Garreg Mach Monastery, and a selection of associated music.
Fans who have purchased the Fighter’s Pass will be able to join the battle as Byleth, via an update on 28 January. Of course, if you’ve not bought the Fighter’s Pass but fancy adding the character to your roster you can purchase them on their own in the eShop.
Byleth joins Persona 5’s Joker, Dragon Quest’s Hero, Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard and, of course, Banjo-Kazooie in completing the lineup for the game’s first batch of additional content. However, more DLC is planned going forward.
You can see him in action below! Are you happy with the addition? Let us know down in the comments!
