Nintendo have dropped an update for the latest Mario Kart release, with a patch now available for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.

Patch notes haven’t been uploaded to Nintendo’s website as yet, but according to Japanese Nintendo, the update will improve the camera settings when playing under strong light:

“The Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Ver. 1.0.1 update adjusts the camera settings of the kart to improve the gameplay experience when indoors under strong light (sunlight and lighting).”

In order to implement the update, players need to connect to the internet and download the patch for the game on their Switch. The kart itself will then be updated when connected to the game.
