The latest character to join the Smash roster has been revealed and it’s none other than arch Final Fantasy VII villain Sephiroth.

Announced at the Game Awards (as promised), the trailer shows Sephiroth slicing Galeem in two before descending into battle. Nintendo also took to Twitter to announce that the third entry in Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will be arriving later this month, with an overview presentation from Masahiro Sakurai on 17 December.
