Pokémon Day is just around the corner, taking place on the 27 February this year, in case you were wondering. Last month, The Pokémon Company announced that it would be releasing a brand new mythical Pokémon to celebrate.

Well, we’ve now gotten our first look at the upcoming monster. Well, sort of. Japanese gaming magazine Coro Coro will be featuring a silhouette of the Pokémon in an upcoming issue. Check it out!

It almost has a werewolf-like appearance, though Pokebeach.com have pointed out that the wrappings around the Pokémon’s wrists bear a striking resemblance to those on a character featured in the trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Koko movie. This mythical Pokémon will make an appearance in that film, as well as crop up in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
