You’ll no doubt recall that last month Nintendo announced a new Coral version of the Switch Lite, which is due to launch alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons later this month. It’s even featured in a few trailers for the game.

At the time it was only Japan and the US that was getting the new shade, but now Nintendo have confirmed that the Coral Switch Lite is indeed heading to the UK and Europe, as well as Australia. We’ll have to wait a little longer for it mind, with the release date being 24 April on these shores.

This is of course the fifth variant of the Switch Lite, following the three original colours - Yellow, Turquoise and Charcoal - and the special Pokemon Sword and Shield variant that launched alongside that game towards the end of last year.
