Nightdive Studios, the guys behind the recent remasters of N64 classics Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil are raiding the 64-bit consoles library once again, with a remastered version of Shadowman headed to consoles some time next year.

The 1999 title is somewhat of a cult-classic, and fans of the original will reportedly be able to enjoy some new content that was cut from it’s initial release. Nightdive’s CEO Stephen Kick said:

“Our goal with the remaster is to give today’s generation of gamers all the features that they expect from a modern title while preserving the qualities that made Valiant’s iconic character and the original Shadow Man game such memorable classics to begin with.”

Were you a fan of the original back in the day? Let us know down in the comments!
