Whilst we’ve all been getting excited about the prospect of a new Paper Mario game, the folks over at 64 Bits have been working on a trailer for an imagined Paper Zelda.

The one and a half minute video captures the Paper Mario aesthetic an transfers it to Zelda so well it could quite easily have come from Nintendo themselves. There’s a whole bunch of nods to a number of games in the series, as well as a few tropes fans of the franchise will be immediately familiar with.

We just want to know who we need to talk to in order to get this made for real. The Legend of Zelda arguably translates to an RPG better than Super Mario, and the Paper Mario games are fantastic examples of the genre (or the first two are at least). Even a remake of The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link would make for a perfect fit in this style if you ask us.
