Animal Crossing New Horizons Updated To Version 1.1.4
This article was originally written for TheNintendoVillage.com, a website I founded and ran from 2018 to 2021.
If you’re anything like us, your rivers, trees and rocks - not to mention your pockets and storage - will have been absolutely overflowing with Bunny Day eggs as of late. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons we mean, isolation hasn’t sent us that loopy just yet.
Well, happily Nintendo has now released a patch for the game that adjusts the rate at which the eggs appear. Hallelujah!
As well as that, version 1.1.4 of the game also fixes an issue with Flick where asking him to make a scarab beetle statue actually produces a totally different bug. One bug squashed to get the right one if you will. Here’s the full patch notes:
Fixed an issue where, when Flick is on your island, if you give him the number of scarab beetles required for a model, the model you receive is of a different insect.
How this issue will be resolved in affected save data:
After the software is updated to Ver. 1.1.4, if you give Flick the required number of scarab beetles again, you will receive the correct model.Adjusted the appearance rate of some Bunny Day eggs through 11.04.2020.
Note: Eggs will be easier to find on Bunny Day itself, which takes place on 12.04.2020.
Looking back at that again, all it says is that the appearance rate has been adjusted. Not reduced. Nintendo wouldn’t make them appear more often… Would they?
