As well as a new line of Uniqlo shirts, and potentially a whole bunch of classic being ported to Switch, Nintendo are celebrating Mario’s 35th anniversary this year by partnering with LEGO.
The LEGO Super Mario set includes a bunch of interactive elements, including the Mario figure itself which features a speaker and a number of LCD displays that change as he moves around the levels you create.
LEGO have now announced that three sets will be launching on 1 August, with pre-orders available imminently. Those sets include the Starter Course, which includes a number of interactive elements - plus Mario himself - that are needed to properly work with the other two expansions.
Those are the Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set and the Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set. The three sets will cost $59.99, $99.99 and $29.99 respectively. Check out the images below for a better look at those two expansions!
