We can’t get enough of Streets of Rage 4 here at Nintendo Village, and it seems that’s the case with a lot of the game’s fans. During a recent Reddit AMA held by the three companies behind the game - Lizardcube, Guard Crush and Dotemu - much of the focus was on the possibility of any future DLC.

As it turns out, there could well be something in the works. Whilst not confirming anything exactly, Dotemu CEO Cyrille Imbert had this to say in response to the vast array of questions asking for more content:

“We have many ideas, and we really want to add more content in the future. But nothing has been decided yet, so we are listening to you and will let you know "what" and "when" soon.”

Elsewhere in the AMA, Lead Programmer Cyrille Claarigue seemed to insinuate that DLC is indeed among their plans, they’re just nailing down what exactly it will consist of:

“We will add content to the game, but we have not taken a precise decision yet. Color options would be nice.”

We’d certainly love to see some more content added to the game. Extra stages and characters would be very welcome indeed! Let us know what you’d like to see down in the comments.
