WWE 2K Battlegrounds Campaign Mode and Match Types Detailed

2K have revealed a few more details about their upcoming brawler WWE 2K Battlegrounds today, along with a new trailer you can check out at the bottom of this piece.

The arcade-style wrestling game’s campaign mode will see players take control of one of 7 new superstars that have been created for the game. You’ll team up with Paul Heyman and Stone Cold Steve Austin to recruit superstars for a new WWE brand, with the story unfolding in a comic art style as you add new wrestlers to your roster.

As well as the campaign mode and the others previously detailed, players can take part in exhibition matches with up to four friends and family - both on and offline - in the following match types:

  • One-on-One

  • Tag Team

  • Triple Threat

  • Fatal Four Way

  • Steel Cage Match

  • Royal Rumble
