Pokémon Sword and Shield players can get their hands on a “battle-ready” Porygon2 this weekend, as part of the Pokémon Players Cup.

The online tournament features a host of top players battling it out, and fans who tune into the broadcast on 22 and 23 August will be shown a password which they can redeem in-game for the virtual ‘mon.

The finals of the Pokémon Sword and Shield tournament will air at 11:00 am PDT over on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on the above dates, with the password revealed during the show. All fans need to do is then head to the Mystery Gift option in-game to redeem the code for their Porygon2.

The Porygon2 in question is described as “battle-ready” thanks to it’s Sassy nature and moveset, which according to Serebii consists of Recover, Trick Room, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. It will also arrive holding an Eviolite to boost its Defense and Special Defense.
