Braid Is Coming To Switch

Time shifting puzzle platformer Braid is getting an anniversary edition, and it’s headed to Switch.

Developer Thekla has revealed that the updated version of the game will feature improved graphics and animations, as well as improved sound and music, and hours of developer commentary and interviews to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the game’s development.

When the game first launched on Xbox Live back in 2008, it really put the indie scene on the map and demonstrated what smaller developers were capable of. Needless to say, this will be another excellent addition to the Switch’s already stellar Nindies library. It’s currently slated for a 2021 release.

Check out the announcement trailer below for a rundown on what’s new, and let us know down in the comments if you’ll be giving Braid: Anniversary Edition a whirl!
