Following on from the initial reveal of the Bowser’s Fury extension to Super Mario 3D World yesterday, Nintendo have just released another video giving a detailed overview of the game.

As well as a refresher on the various power ups found within the main game - including an invincible new White Tanooki Mario suit for younger or casual players - and a glance at the online multiplayer modes, the video takes a deeper look at the additional content in the Switch port.

It apparently takes place at Lake Lapcat, with Mario teaming up with Bowser Jr to stop a rampaging Bowser. Each of the islands on Lake Lapcat can be freely explored in an open sandbox style, much like Super Mario Odyssey. Players get to new islands by riding on Plessie. The goal is to collect the Cat Shines in order to access the Giga Bell, allowing Mario to take on Bowser directly.

There’s also a new snapshot mode included allowing you to take cool shots of the action in the game, and all amiibo are compatible. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
