Koei Tecmo’s latest Hyrule Warriors entry will also be getting the DLC treatment, with an Expansion Pass for the game revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct.
The Expansion Pass will be released in two waves, with the first arriving in June, followed by another batch of content in November. Players who purchase the Pass for $19.99 / £17.99 will receive both batches when they’re released. You’ll get a bonus weapon and costume for Link on 28 May if you do pick it up.
The first wave will bring an expanded roster, new weapon types and enemies, and new challenges in the Royal Ancient Lab. As for the November batch, players can look forward to new character vignettes, another roster expansion, more stages and new battle skills for existing characters.
There’s no specifics as yet, but Nintendo did furnish us with a few screenshots from the trailer which you can have a look at below. Let us know in the comments if you’ll be picking it up!
