Cadence of Hyrule tops European eShop charts in June

Nintendo of Europe has dropped a list of the top-selling games from the Switch eShop throughout June, and this month it’s a Zelda title that tops the charts.
Cadence of Hyrule unsurprisingly took the number one spot, fending off a late challenge from Super Mario Maker 2 (the portly plumber’s level builder only released on June 28, so the headstart undoubtedly helped). It seemed a fair few people couldn’t get enough of the rhythm adventure action, as the original Crypt of the NecroDancer came in third.
Hollow Knight and Cuphead rounded out the top five, the evergreen Mario Kart 8 Deluxe finished seventh, two places above the newly released Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and Final Fantasy VII also claimed a top 10 spot.
Here are the top 15:
Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda
Super Mario Maker 2
Crypt of the NecroDancer
Hollow Knight
Cuphead
My Friend Pedro
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Minecraft
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
Final Fantasy VII
Rocket League
Slay the Spire
Stardew Valley
Collection of Mana
Enter the Gungeon
We’re not surprised Cadence of Hyrule came out on top. It is an absolutely cracking game, which we gave an impressive 8.5 out of 10. We weren’t the only outlet that loved it, either.
Have you been plowing time into Cadence of Hyrule this month? Or were you one of the people who somehow have only just bought Minecraft?
