As well as the reveal of Byleth as the final Fighters Pass character - and some details on Fighters Pass Vol. 2 - a bunch of new Mii Fighter costumes were also announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Among those announced are an Altair (of Assassin’s Creed fame) outfit, a Rabbids hat and a couple of Megaman costumes. Perhaps the most exciting though, is the inclusion of Cuphead, who gets a full outfit so you can barely tell it’s a Mii Fighter at all. You’ll also get the Floral Fury music track from the game’s infamous Cagney Carnation boss battle with the outfit.

Developer Studio MDHR took to Twitter to thank Nintendo and series director Masahiro Sakurai for the ‘unbelievable opportunity’ in having the indie character represented:

A brawl is surely brewing! Cuphead is joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a downloadable Mii Gunner Costume!! Available for purchase on 1/28, including the music track Floral Fury.

The various costumes will be available for $0.75 / £0.70 each and will arrive on 28 January. The same day that Byleth will arrive, as well the opportunity to purchase another six characters via the second Fighters Pass.
