The Nintendo Live event currently happening over in Japan had a ton of cool stuff for fans to check out on day one, not least of which was a Splatoon 2 concert. Attendees got a little bonus though, in the for of KK Slider of Animal Crossing fame.

The guitar-playing pooch opening the set with a rendition of the main theme from the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons, before widdling a bit of a Splatoon riff at the end of his segment.

The concert then got started proper, with the hologram versions of Off the Hook and the Squid Sisters taking the stage at various points throughout the show, accompanying a full live band.

The music sure sounds fantastic in a live setting - check out the full concert, including KK Slider’s set, in the video below:
