With The Witcher 3 arriving on Switch tomorrow, some fans have started wondering if any of CD Projekt Red’s other games could make their way over to the hybrid system - specifically the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.

At PAX Australia earlier this week, Gamespot asked studio head John Mamais about the possibility of the sci-fi RPG following in The Witcher’s footsteps. While he didn’t completely rule it out, hinting that the developer may look into it, a port nevertheless still seems unlikely:

Who would have thought a game like The Witcher 3 would be possible on Switch, so who knows? I guess we'll see, if we `decide to put it on the Switch, if we can do it. Probably not.

Cyperpunk is due to launch on the other systems in April, but Switch fans will have to make do with The Witcher 3 for the time being. From what we’ve played of it, it’s shaping up to be an impressive port.
