Gigantamax Charizard Is Terrifyingly Awesome

We’ve been spoiled on the Pokémon front the last week or so, and the information keeps on coming. This time we’ve been treated to a new trailer that showcases a bunch of new Gigantamax forms for Gen 1 Pokémon.

Those in question are Pikachu, Eevee, Butterfree, Meowth and Charizard. The all have special Gigantamax moves too.

Pikachu’s G-Max Volt Crash will paralyze all opponents, whereas Eevee’s G-Max Cuddle causes all opposite gender opponents to become infatuated. To get these Pokémon thouogh you’ll need to have save data for Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee on your system respectively.

Charizard’s G-Max Wildfire will do damage to all non-fire types for four turns. It’s especially powerful as Gigantamaxing only lasts for three turns, so you’ll get an extra turn’s worth of damage out of the move.

As for Butterfree, the G-Max Befuddle move inflicts a status change on your opponents. It’s picked at random, but they’ll end up asleep, poisoned or paralyzed.

Lastly, anyone who buys the game before 15 January 2020 will receive Gigantamax Meowth who’s G-Max Gold Rush move confuses all targets and earns an in-game cash bonus, similar to the move Payday.

You can check out all of the new animations and moves in the trailer below. Our personal pick is the Gigantamax Charizard - he looks absolutely awesome!
