We’re rather hyped for Streets of Rage 4 here at Nintendo Village so we were grateful to see more of the game in action during yesterday’s Indie World presentation.

The big reveal is the return of Adam Hunter as a playable character. Fans of the series will have kicked all sorts of butt with him in the first game, but he had been relegated to a non-playable role in subsequent releases. Thankfully, we can now take control of both Adam, and his daughter Cherry who is debuting in the game.

You can check out the trailer for Adam’s return below, where we also got a glimpse of a new elevator level! Needless to say, this is one of our most anticipated games for next year, and it’s currently slated to arrive in the first half of 2020.
