If you’ve been wanting to dive into Tetris 99 but have been unsure about springing for Nintendo Switch Online, now could be your chance.

Nintendo of America are running a week-long free trial of the service for My Nintendo members, in exchange for 100 platinum points. You’ll be able to redeem your points for the trial until 31 January, provided you’re not currently subscribed to the service.

To do so, just log in to your My Nintendo account, redeem your points to receive the code, and then just enter that code in the eShop on your Switch.

Between Tetris 99, all the additional multiplayer services, not to mention the NES and SNES games available for subscribers (which have just been updated to include a few more), now’s the perfect time to give the service a whirl and see if it’s for you.
