We’re only a couple of weeks away from a brand new Mario Kart game and Nintendo have dropped a brand new trailer to get us all hyped.

Ok, it may only be a mobile game but still, we’re all excited to get back out on the track in Mario Kart Tour when it arrives on 25 September.

The trailer in question features a bunch of Toads running around Tokyo getting the circuit ready. Frankly, we think it’s a brilliant little ad and we also now kinda wanna see a real world Mario movie in this style.

Mario Kart Tour follows in the footsteps of Super Mario Run, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Fire Emblem Heroes, Dragalia Lost, Dr Mario World and the ill-fated Miitomo in the pantheon of Nintendo’s mobile offerings.

Minor trepidations about microtransactions aside, we’re really looking forward to going hands-on (thumbs-on?) with the game when it drops later this month.
