We’re still a month away from going ghost hunting in Luigi’s Mansion 3, but it appears that there’s additional DLC already planned for the game.

The news comes straight from the official game page where, amongst info about the game’s features and story, Nintendo have dropped the casual fact at the bottom of the page that DLC is indeed planned for the lanky green one’s latest adventure.

Paid DLC will come to Luigi's Mansion 3 in the future, adding new content to the ScareScraper and ScreamPark multiplayer modes.

There’s no word on how much this extra content will cost or when it will be available.

What is interesting is that it seems to be limited only to the game’s multiplayer modes. You’d perhaps think that any DLC for the game would add additional floors for Luigi to explore, but instead the expansion appears to be restricted to the party modes.

We loved the game when we got to go hands on with a demo version, so we can’t wait to break out the poltergust once again on Halloween.
