Nintendo Turns 130 Years Old

It’s hard to believe but the House of Mario is turning 130 years old today. For the vast majority of us, Nintendo has only ever been a video game company, and needless to say, gaming tech was’t quite where it’s at now in the 19th Century.
The company got their start making Hanafuda playing cards of course - something they still produce to this day - before going on to create other toys in the 20th century before turning to electronic games in the 80s and beyond.
It goes without saying that the industry would be a wildly different place without Nintendo, so happy birthday to the big N!
Check out this cool graphic - shared over on Twitter - that showcases the Nintendo logo, and how it’s changed, throughout the company’s history.
