Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training was one of the Nintendo DS’ most synonyms titles back in the day, and now the series is returning with a new entry on Nintendo Switch.

The new entry - known as Train Your Brain: Nintendo Switch Training for Adults in Japan - is launching on 27 December in Nintendo’s homeland, with the physical version of the game including a stylus. There’s actually no confirmation on a release in any other region as yet, but it would be weird if the game didn’t make it to Western shores given the series’ popularity.

The trailer dropped by Nintendo details how the game make some nifty use of the Switch’s tech. The IR sensor on the right Joy-Con is used for games like rock paper scissors, as well as some quick maths. There’s some competitive multiplayer on show with split Joy-Con, as well as some motion-based games too.

We’ll be sure to update this story if we get news of a Western release, but for now, check out the trailer in question below.
