Switch System Update 9.0.1 Is Live

The Nintendo Switch firmware has been updated once again to version 9.0.1.

Whilst the last system update was relatively significant, this new one adds that all-important stability, whilst tidying up a few bits the were overlooked on the Switch Lite.

Users of Nintendo’s newest Switch version were asked during setup to remove their Joy-Con. Short of taking a hacksaw to the system, that isn’t actually possible, so it’s good to see that Nintendo have removed that instruction in this latest update.

The only other note Nintendo have provided about this update is that it has “Resolved an issue that may have triggered errors during game play.” Just what those errors are we have no idea, but always good to hear they’ve been tidied up.
