Is there any game coming to Switch this year more hotly anticipated than Animal Crossing: New Horizons? We certainly don’t think so, and that may be why we go ga-ha for any morsel of info in the run up to release.

Thankfully, the good folks over at Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu have shared a bunch of screenshots from the game to give us our latest fix.

They show off various areas of the island that’ll be your virtual home from 20 March, as well as give us another look at some of the menus we’ll undoubtedly spend countless hours scrolling through.

The main thing that strikes us from this batch though is just how gorgeous everything looks. The series is certainly making the step up to HD nicely!
