Devil May Cry 3 On Switch Offers New Style Switching Mechanic

Although there was a ton of speculation about Dante’s possible inclusion in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, it turns out that what Capcom were actually teasing for 16 January was gameplay footage of the new style switching mechanic coming to Devil May Cry 3 when it lands on Switch next month.
The Style System introduced in the game allowed players to switch (*click*) between a total of 6 different combat styles, selecting their preferred option before a mission. Devil May Cry 4 then allowed players to do this on the fly, with that trick now being implemented in it’s predecessor for the Switch’s Special Edition release.
Naturally, this will allow players to chain together even more impressive combos when combating the various otherworldly opponents the game throws at them. You can check it out in action in the below tweet:
Players will switch between the styles using the directional buttons on the left Joy-Con (or the D-pad on your Pro controller) allowing you to level up multiple styles pretty much simultaneously.
The game itself launches on 20 February, and players who own the first two games on Switch can enjoy a 50% discount.
