If you’re a bit of a Mario Kart whizz and you fancy getting your hands on some sweet, sweet eShop credit you may be in luck - provided you’re based in North America.
The North American Mario Kart Open tournament starts later today - at 12pm Pacific Time / 3pm Eastern to be precise - and will run for six hours each across the next three days. If you manage to place in the top 8 on any one of those days, you’ll receive 2,500 Gold Points - equivalent to $25 on the Switch eShop.
You can compete in a maximum of 24 races each day, but if you manage to place in the top 8 on one day, you won’t be able to win again on another day. Races will be a 150cc affair, with normal items and no CPU.
There’s three tournament codes, one for each day, which are as follows:
Friday 17 January: 0799-6132-1003
Saturday 18 January: 2403-5150-5963
Sunday 19 January: 1453-2535-4539
Unfortunately if you’re based outside of the US, Canada or Mexico, you’ll be ineligible to enter. You can find all the other tournament info, rules and stipulations here.
Let us know if you’re going to be competing!
