The Switch port of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is already an impressive feat of digital engineering, but if a recent comment from Saber Interactive is anything to go by, it could be about to get even better.

During a Q&A on their forum, the studio behind the port said that the upcoming patch for The Witcher “will be worth the wait.”

Now that’s not a comment you’d usually make if you were just squashing a few bugs. As Nintendo Life points out, some hackers have already found ways of improving the graphics in the Switch version of the game already. Some are speculating that those tools could be made available to everyone.

We’ve no idea what the update will actually contain as yet, so I guess we’ll just have to wait patiently.
