You know that thing in Animal Crossing where you give your favourite villager a meticulously crafted peacoat to keep them warm in the snowy winters, only for them to then butcher it into some sleeveless monstrosity the second they put it on? Well you can say goodbye to that in New Horizons!

Japanese Nintendo has shared a scan from the March issue of Nintendo Dream, which features a huge roster of villagers who will be in the game. In a series-first though, many of them are wearing t-shirts and jumpers, meaning Axel no longer needs to act the tough-guy in his tanktop during the cold winter months.

In all seriousness though, there’s clearly going to be an unprecedented level of detail and personality in Animal Crossing New Horizons, and we’re so excited to see what other little changes crop up to make the experience even more captivating.
