Gold Pass subscribers got a sneak preview of Mario Kart Tour’s upcoming multiplayer mode back in December, and now it seems the rest of us will get a chance to try it out.

Nintendo have taken to Twitter to announce another Beta test for the multiplayer mode, but this time it’s open to everyone - regardless of whether or not they’ve signed up for the monthly subscription service.

A second multiplayer test is on the way, and this time all players can join in, not just #MarioKartTour Gold Pass subscribers. Further details will be posted here and in-game soon, so buckle up and start your engines! pic.twitter.com/8l3YVEabll

As you can tell from the above Tweet, there’s no indication when we’ll get to take on our friends in the game, but it’s nice to know it’s on the way at least.
