Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Version 7.0.0 update is now live, and as well as the inclusion of Fire Emblem Three Houses’ Byleth as a playable character, fans can also pick up a Mii Fighter costume for indie-darling Cuphead.

To celebrate, Studio MDHR - the developers of the rock-hard shooter - have discounted the game by 25% between now and Friday (31 January). So if you’re wanting to pick up the game itself alongside the costume, it’ll only set you back $14.99 / £12.74 instead of the usual $19.99 / £16.99.

The Mii Fighter costume can also be bought from the eShop for the grand total of $0.75 / £0.70, and it includes the Floral Fury music track from the game’s iconic Cagney Carnation boss battle.

Studio MDHR aren’t the only ones celebrating Cuphead’s inclusion today either. A dedicated fan has released a stop-motion video using toys from the game’s Todd McFarlane collection. The short video is produced by Davy Productions, check it out!

Will you be picking up Cuphead at the discounted rate? Playing as him in Smash already? Let us know what you think in the comments!
