See How Two Point Hospital Works On Consoles

Two Point Hospital is now less than a month away, with the console version of the game due to drop on 25 February. The spiritual successor to the cult-classic PC game Theme Hospital, it originally released on Steam back in 2018, so you may be wondering how well the controls and interface translate from a mouse and keyboard to a controller.

Well, courtesy of a new video straight from the Two Point staff room, we can now get a closer look at the game in action. The video sees Lead Designer Ben Huskins and Senior UI/UX Artist Lauren Woodroffe play through the opening level of the game, with Woodroffe reassuring us that the menu system has been built ‘from the ground up’ for console.

It certainly looks like that’s the case, with the guys able to build rooms, hire staff, and generally manage their hospital with incredible ease. This was something we found quickly became rather intuitive when we went hands-on with the game at Gamescom last year too.

Check out the video below, and let us know if you’ll be picking this one up next month!
