Developer Obsidian have announced that the delayed Switch version of The Outer Worlds will finally be arriving on 6 March.

Having initially released on Xbox One and PS4 last October, the Switch version required a little extra polish before it was ready. The port is being handled by Virtuous, who also brought Starlink and Dark Souls over to the console, so we can expect a solid port if past form is anything to go by!

The open-world adventure released to solid reviews, with critics praising the tight combat and witty writing.

Fans hoping for a physical version may be a little disappointed though. Although retail stores will carry a box for the game, there’ll be no cart inside - just a download code. It’s a similar approach to that seen taken by Blizzard for the release of Overwatch last year too.
