Super Smash Bros Ultimate Updated To Version 6.1.1

The Smash Bros line of amiibo continues to roll on, chipping away at the bank balances of all those unfortunate souls who vowed to keep the line complete. Echo fighters Dark Samus and Richter are next on the list, with the pair dropping later this month - 17 January to be precise.
To ready the game for their inclusion, Nintendo have updated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to version 6.1.1, with the sole patch note reading as follows:
“Support for the upcoming Dark Samus and Richter amiibo figures has been implemented.”
Not the most exciting update in the world, but it’s always nice to know that the figures you’re buying will work as intended (besides just looking great on your shelf).
That Dark Samus amiibo in particular looks rather cool, so we’re looking forward to getting our hands on that.
Do you guys still train and fight with your amiibo? Or are they just nerdy little ornaments in your collection? Let us know down below!
