Towards the end of today’s Minecraft Steve presentation, Masahiro Sakurai revealed that the three remaining characters from Fighters Pass Vol. 1 will all be getting amiibo.

The series director showed off prototype figures for Banjo-Kazooie, Terry Bogard and Byleth, with all three currently penciled in for a 2021 release. However, fans hoping for both a male and female version of Byleth will be disappointed as only the P1 male version is being produced.

Sakurai also hinted at amiibo for the latest character to join the roster (Minecraft Steve), so fingers crossed we’ll be able to add him, Min Min and the rest of the Fighters Pass 2 characters (whoever they might be) to our collections further down the line too.
