Unto The End Releasing December 17 On Switch

Indie adventure game Unto The End has been given a Switch release date of 17 December, along with a new video to highlight the game’s unique approach to combat.
Developed by husband and wife team of Stephen Danton and Sara Kitamura - collectively known as 2 Ton Studios - the game sees you traversing fairly hostile terrain in a bid to be reunited with your family.
Along the way you’ll indulge in what the developer is calling ‘read-react combat’, calling on you to watch your opponent’s moves carefully before blocking, parrying and countering with your own. You also have the option of forgoing combat completely by trading items with the creatures you come across. How you approach each encounter will determine what you can and cannot do further down the line.
We’ve been looking forward to this one since playing a demo of the game at EGX last year and it’s shaping up to provide a barnstorming end to Switch’s 2020 release schedule.
Check out the new trailer below and let us know what you think down in the comments!
