Pokémon HOME Available Now

The Pokémon Company have just shadow dropped Pokémon HOME, with the service now available to download on iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch.
The cloud storage app lets you store Pokémon from a number of games, and transfer them between titles such as Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. There’s two plans available too, a free one and a premium plan that offers larger storage and a number of other perks. You can read all about that here.
When you first open up the app, you’re greeted by Grand Oak, an older yet unmistakably groovy looking Pokémon Professor who introduces you to Pokémon Home and offers you a free Pokémon. Yes, you get a choice of Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle to get you started.
If you’re playing Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield, we recommend going for Bulbasaur or Squirtle, as it’s not currently possible to catch either of those in game, whereas Charmander becomes available to you later on.
You can download the Pokémon HOME app here on iOS and here on Google Play store.
