More Games Being Added To NES/SNES Switch Online App

Although the monthly releases that accompanied the NES Online app stopped when SNES games were added to the Nintendo Switch Online service, Nintendo did say that more games would be added periodically. The last update was back in the beginning of December, where we got Starfox 2, Super Punch Out!! and Kirby Superstar amongst others, and we’re finally getting a few more.
There’ll be two games added apiece to the NES and SNES apps, with Shadow of the Ninja and Eliminator Boat Duel coming to the NES library and Pop’n Twin Bee and Smash Tennis the newcomers for SNES fans. They seem like kind of odd choices when you consider Earthbound, Super Mario RPG and all of the Donkey Kong Country games are currently missing from the service, but we’ll take it.
All four games will be available from their respective apps from 19 February. You can see a brief trailer featuring them all in the embedded tweet below. Let us know which ones you’ll be playing down in the comments!
