More New Horizons Character Customisation Info

One of the most exciting features of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the increased customisation of your playable character. We got a glimpse of some of the options available during last week’s Direct, but now Nintendo have given us a more detailed look in some videos posted on Twitter.
The first one shows us the initial character creation at the beginning of the game. Timmy and Tommy will ask you for your passport photo before you head off to your chosen island, and you’ll be able to select your skin colour (in a series first), as well as your hairstyle, eyes, nose and mouth shape, and the various colours applied to your barnet, peepers and cheeks. Interestingly, the second video also shows how you can change your appearance later in the game, and it does not involve a visit to Shampoodle. Instead, you can adjust all your features just by interacting with a mirror:
What this means for Harriet remains to be seen. Maybe she’ll open a beauty corner in the Able Sisters where you can get new hairstyles and colours to try out, though we do know that some of those will be accessible by redeeming Nook Miles at least.
