Platinum have four projects in the works, including the Wonderful 101 Remastered Kickstarter, and the second is due to be fully revealed today. However, you may recall that the official unveiling is contained in this week’s issue of Famitsu, and we now have some more details.

Project GG - as it’s currently known - will reportedly be the third entry in what Hideki Kamiya is calling a hero trilogy, following on from the ‘transformative hero’ Viewtiful Joe and the ‘hero squadron’ of The Wonderful 101. Project GG will apparently by a ‘huge hero’.

The game will have an action feel apparently, but that will not be the main focus. Interestingly, Platinum reportedly turned down funding and publishing from Tencent in order to retain complete control over, publishing the game themselves.
