Maybe we should change our name to Platinum Village, but the news from the Japanese developer just keeps on coming as of late! The Wonderful 101 Remastered has now hit its fifth stretch goal, with backers now in line to enjoy a remixed soundtrack featuring a mystery special guest.

The campaign has passed $1.75m triggering the award, with the next stretch goal being a second mission for Luka - a new character who’s destined to receive his first mission thanks to the campaign hitting its $1.5m stretch goal.

There’s still 8 days left to go on the campaign so it could well hit the $2m target for a follow-up to Luka’s 2D spin-off challenge, and Platinum have now added a further $2.25m goal with orchestral recordings of “The Won-Stoppable Wonderful 100” and “Tables Turn” the prize on offer.

The game had its general release date confirmed for 19 May yesterday, at least in the US. The European release will follow a couple of days later with a Japanese release dropping in June.
