As part of yesterday’s Pokémon Day, the Pokémon Company has revealed the latest mythical Pokémon to enter the Pokédex, and it’s monkey-like Zarude.

The new Pokémon is a dual dark and grass type monster that, according to the official info:

“can grow vines from the back of its neck, its wrists, and the soles of its feet at will. The vines are strong and flexible and are useful for many different situations. They can be used to wrap around tree branches to move around and grab Berries from distant branches, and they even have healing properties.”

That’s not all though, as Zarude will also be making an appearance in the upcoming Pokémon Coco movie, and you can see the animated version of the latest Pokédex entry in this trailer too!
