One positive in these tough times is seeing various companies and communities banding together to help get each other through. Nintendo are no different, and have stepped up by donating 9500 respirator masks to the City of North Bend and Eastside Fire and Rescue service.

The masks are reportedly in high demand amongst first responders and healthcare workers, and Nintendo representative Jerry Danson knew they were needed elsewhere despite being initially purchased for Nintendo’s own emergency planning.

Eastside Fire and Rescue staff will “distribute the masks throughout the region to address immediate needs” and ended the press release by thanking Nintendo for the “generous donation.”

Nice move Nintendo.
