You may not be aware, but if you’re lucky enough to complete the Pokédex in Pokémon HOME, the service will reward you with an “Original Colors” Magearna. At least. that’s what it’s supposed to do.

Unfortunately some players have experienced a glitch whereby they’re only receiving the ‘normal’ version of the Pokémon, a version with the wrong moves, or sometimes just not receiving the gift at all.

As a result, the Pokémon Company is taking the service down from 6 March form 1:30 UTC to 8:00 UTC in order to fix the bug. Following the maintenance players should no longer have any trouble receiving their free gift once they complete their ‘Dex. Anyone who received the glitched Magearna will have access to the proper one in their Gift Box following the maintenance too.
